What Will I HAVE TO DO

Pencil 1.png

Use your ideas and thoughts to compose lyrics for your song - your teachers, family and friends can help you with this or you may have plenty of your own ideas.

Choose how you would like the music to sound and how it will be structured - for example, you could have two or three verses and a chorus that repeats.

Choose up to 20 photos and 2 short film clips to be included in the final production of your music.

How Will This All Work?

  1. There will be a 30 minute ZOOM meeting with a member of Music Hub staff to explain how to work with composerS; this can be with a teacher or a parent/carer.

  2. There will be a Zoom meeting with the composer of the piece to share ideas about lyrics, musical style and structure. one of the Music Hub staff may also attend and your parents can come along if they would like to - you can talk to them about this.

  3. The composer will take your ideas away and work on them.

  4. There will be another meeting with the composer to add finishing touches and agree the final piece.

  5. The music will be recorded.

  6. The final film will be produced and shared with you.

The T’s and C’s

parents/Carers will need to sign a consent form and provide an email address and contact telephone number so we can set up the Zoom Meetings.

These will be set up through the Music Hub's secure account and only the Administrator will have access to your confidential information.

We will record the meetings with the composer as part of our safeguarding procedures and these will be kept for one month on a secure storage cloud.

We would like to be able to share your music with others on social media and though our website.
